Villa a Vida is located in central Algarve in the small village of Porto Carvalhoso near Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo, with the villages of Tavira and Olhão a 20-minute drive away and the airport in Faro 33 kilometers away.
A 5-minute drive away in Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo you will find a bank, ATM, petrol pump, small supermarket, greengrocer, fresh fish and the best bakery in the area. The nearest supermarket (Continente, Lidl and Intermarché) is in Sao Bras de Alportel, a 10-minute drive away. Food markets (fresh fruit and vegetables, fish, butchers, poulterers) can be found in Tavira or Sao Bras de Alportel.
The nearest beach is in Fuseta, a 20-minute drive away. If you want to discover the islands in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, take the ferry from Tavira or Olhão and explore the beautiful white beaches and blue sea.
